Complying with the Citizen Power model, the Managua Mayor's Office, in coordination with the organized community, made the family of Mr. Armando Jiménez Pérez the protagonist of the right to Dignified Housing, who last Wednesday, April 5, lost their home due to a fire, in the Domitila Lugo neighborhood, located in District IV.

Immediately, the organized community provided accompaniment and coordinated with the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power to guarantee the necessary attention to the affected family, with the construction of their new home, which was delivered this Tuesday, April 18, by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

“We have made a lot of progress, more than 13,000 homes delivered in our municipality, but above all attention to eventualities such as that of Don Armando, a fire where he lost everything, he is a musician and all his instruments burned, but thanks to that community organization and we as the Mayor's Office, the firefighters, we all come together to serve him," said Rueda.

Likewise, he added that it is part of the commitment of the Good Government to guarantee the tranquility and security of families in the capital, "in this Domitila Lugo neighborhood, 38 homes have been delivered and from 2009 to date more than 85 million córdobas have been invested in works of road improvement, water and sanitation, as well as the coating of the 4 stages of the channel”.

For his part, the protagonist Armando Jiménez Pérez, expressed his satisfaction with the different institutions of Good Government, for the support provided from the first moment of the mishap, "now we are blessed and grateful."
