Three days after celebrating World Art Day, from the Otto de la Rocha House of Culture and Creativity, the Nicaraguan Institute for Municipal Development (INIFOM), the Nicaraguan Institute of Culture and the Citizen Power Mayor's Offices presented the National Map of the 145 Houses of Culture and Creativity, as well as the 195 Museums of the Revolution that exist nationwide.
During the presentation, Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado explained that this has been an effort of the Good Government, which has promoted through the different institutions spaces that did not exist before.
“This is a restitution of the right to young people, especially the generation born after the 90s, young people of 22, 23, 24 years old, their right to knowledge of the history of our country is being restored, we should feel proud Nicaraguans of our histories, traditions and cultures, of our artistic disciplines that are carried out in schools,” said Rueda.
The official stressed that the experience has been extraordinary for families, since they are talking about the talents that children, youth and adults have developed.
For her part, Compañera Elieth Esquivel, co-director of INIFOM, stated that, in the coming days, more details about the National Map will be released through the website of the Nicaraguan Institute for Municipal Development.
The interactive map is a virtual platform created so that children, young people and adults interested in developing in the different disciplines of art and culture can find out and more easily obtain the necessary information to be able to study any of the courses that currently exist.
