




As part of the Winter 2023 Plan, authorities from the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua visited the storm drainage works that are being carried out in the channel of the Americas 4, in the Quinta Pacheco sector of District VI of the capital.
“We are making a very significant investment, protecting and providing security and well-being to more than 1,200 families, that means more than 7,000 brothers and sisters who live in the area,” reported Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
He pointed out that it is the first part that is being intervened and one of the largest for this year, “there will be approximately 12 stages that we have in this area. We are talking about 100 linear meters, with a hydraulic zone 6 meters wide and 3 meters high”.
Likewise, he announced that the work has an investment of 12 million 500 thousand córdobas and is part of the Winter 2023 Plan, to guarantee the proper functioning of this system.
The municipality this year, through the Winter Plan, will invest 833 million córdobas in the city's drainage.
