Launch of the Summer of Love Plan 2023

The Managua Tourism Cabinet, made up of all the deputy mayors of the municipality in coordination with the Intur and the National Police, launched the Summer of Love Plan 2023, where the destinations and tourist offers that are ready to receive the visitors were presented. local and foreign tourists on these Easter holidays.

During the launch full of color, Caribbean music, art and culture, the Secretary of the Municipal Council, Jennifer Porras López, shared with the deputy mayors and merchants the importance of working in coordination.

“We are meeting as a department to start all our plans and strategies that will guarantee the safety and protection of the families that will visit the different tourist destinations, we are also going to provide support to entrepreneurs, who are ready to offer different recreation alternatives. For these days".

According to statistics from previous years, the Department of Managua will be visited by one million tourists, as reported by Intur Delegate Martha Baltodano.

"Managua has the highest number of visits this season, we are ready to receive a million tourists with 400 hotels, 4,000 rooms and 5,000 beds, thank God the tourism sector is recovering from the effects of the pandemic and today we have figures similar to those of 2019”, stated Baltodano.

The departmental cabinet of Managua will be guaranteeing fluid and safe mobilization to tourist destinations, quality care in the different establishments and full coverage of all Good Government institutions that will safeguard citizen security.
