Municipal authorities and merchants from the Iván Montenegro market inaugurate a new shed

Starting this Friday, March 31, 26 leading merchants from the Iván Montenegro market who sell dairy products will work in better conditions, with the construction of the new shed in the Las Cuajaditas sector.

The construction of the new infrastructure was carried out to respond to one of the most sensitive demands of this market, as reported by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López.

"We continue working to respond to the demands of the brothers who work in this shopping center, we are focusing the necessary resources to modernize this market, as we remember last year we carried out three projects here in the Iván Montenegro, we built the gallery through of the Annual Investment Plan, with an investment of 2 million 288 thousand 252 córdobas”, shared Porras.

Juan Heberto Luna has been selling dairy products in this market for 40 years and is one of the 26 merchants who have benefited.

"We feel happy and grateful first to God and then to our Good Government for this opportunity we have, now we are going to work without getting wet when it rains, the sun will not affect the products and everything will be well cleaned, because we have everything new Luna said.

The infrastructure of the shed has an area of 247 square meters, 7.50 meters wide and 33 meters long and in the next few days the construction of another shed will begin in this market, for the vegetable sector and the second stage of the project for the maintenance and renovation of the roof of the central nave of the market, to replace 240 linear meters of rainwater channels.
