Managua already has a new Cycling Academy

Capital authorities inaugurated this Saturday, March 25, the first Cycling Academy of the municipality, complying with the guidance of the Good Government, in promoting and supporting sports in its different disciplines.

The new academy will work with children from 4 to 15 years old, on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Los Amigos de Villa Progreso park and will have 2 instructors, with the aim of providing a new sports alternative to the new generations, shared the Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.

“We already had baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, martial arts, and skateboarding academies, and today we are opening the cycling academy, so we invite parents to bring their children here,” Armas said. .

Sport is one of the main axes promoted by the Sandinista Government since 2007 and in response to this orientation, the Managua Mayor's Office has created 14 academies of different sports disciplines, including cycling and more than 30 sports schools, in the 7 districts. of Managua, where more than 2,400 children, youth and adolescents are involved.
