With the participation of 40 athlete couples, the Managua Mayor's Office in coordination with the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, made the second stop of the National Beach Volleyball Tour, last Sunday, March 12, at Paseo Xolotlán.
These couples were divided into 23 women and 17 men and, unlike last year, this year there will only be 4 stops, the first was made at the facilities of the Nicaraguan Sports Institute, as announced by the Director of Sports of the municipality, Noel Gonzalez.
"The Mayor's Office of Managua has beach volleyball academies on this Paseo Xolotlán, registration is totally free, from the age of 4 to 17, so that parents can bring their children here in these facilities, which provide all the conditions to practice this sport discipline”, affirmed González.
The third stop of this National Tour will take place on March 19 and 26 at Pochomil beach and the grand finale will take place at La Boquita beach, on April 7 and 8, where the couples with the highest score percentage will participate.
"We are part of the Academy of the Managua Mayor's Office and we practice almost daily, we spend the whole year preparing to enter the National Beach Volleyball Tour, our expectations as an academy is to win and give our best," said athlete Cristel Bojorge.
