“Now that we are fully entering the summer season, all the items and beachwear are in great demand, not to mention the Lenten meals that families traditionally come to look for in the kitchens of this market, which next April it will celebrate 42 years of being founded”, affirmed Armas.
The Huembes market has 3,078 fixed merchants, in addition to having a dining area, it has the handicrafts area and the bus terminal, which always guarantees the visit of many tourists and vacationers who arrive to board the buses that go to San South John.
Freddy Casco, General Director of COMMEMA explained that all the strategic plans are ready to guarantee the safety of merchants and consumers.
"We are investing in this and all the markets in Managua to build better conditions that benefit the merchants and the families that visit these shopping centers, we invite the families to come to the Huembes market, where they will find fairs on weekends with promotions and rebates,” Casco said.
For his part, Jorge Luis González, President of the Nicaraguan Merchants Association, confirmed that sales projections for this season could reach at least 800 million córdobas, "our sales could reach 800 to 1,000 million córdobas, because the Solidarity prices and promotions are being taken advantage of by families, once again we show that markets are centers of life”.
