Creative Fair for Nicaraguan Women Entrepreneurs

The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in conjunction with INTA, MEFCCA, INAFOR and INATEC, from the Municipal Strategy for Creative Economy of the capital, held a Creative Fair on the afternoon of March 3, in greeting to the International Day of the woman.

In this fair there was a total participation of 45 creative ventures, of which 37 are women entrepreneurs from the different neighborhoods of the VI district of Managua.

“Accompanying the Delegation of District VI of the Mayor's Office of Managua, in this entrepreneurship fair in honor of International Women's Day. It is important to mention that District VI is one of those that has stood out a lot in creative economy activities and has allowed us to bring together an important sector of entrepreneurship that has been developing different alternatives, both economic and creative," said the Secretary. from the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López.

Different sectors were present, such as Gastronomy, Crafts and Popular Art, Design and Environment. Likewise, the mothers of the Commission for Youth at Risk attended, who had an exchange of experiences with the entrepreneurs.

"These fairs seem very good to me, especially because Nicaraguan women have many opportunities, they have space in various districts, they don't have to pay anything to bring their products and generate jobs for their families' economy," said the protagonist Amanda Flores. .

On a continuous basis, these spaces for the development of entrepreneurs are carried out, which stimulates the economy and the sharing of experiences, thanks to the accompaniment of Good Governance institutions.
