









With the aim of improving the working conditions of 82 merchants in the dining, meat and dairy area of the Israel Lewites market, the municipality inaugurated maintenance and restoration works on the entire metal structure of this warehouse.
The inauguration ceremony and tour of the different sections was attended by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López, who stated that the commitment of the Good Government is to continue working with prosperity projects for all families.
"In this very special month, dedicated to our Nicaraguan women, like Doña Josefa, who are here today giving thanks to God, because we have better working conditions, better infrastructures that allow families to visit us and throughout the journey that we come By doing, we have seen a clean, beautiful market, all its platforms and sections very tidy, with that love that the merchant who opens the doors from dawn until he leaves, in this his second home, dedicates to him, ”said Porras.
In the same way, he informed that within the maintenance work, the painting of the internal and external part was carried out in an area of 965 square meters of roof and in the entire metallic structure, which supports the warehouse, plus the restoration of the rain channels. , with an investment of 1 million 907 thousand 552 córdobas.
The merchants expressed their gratitude to the authorities of the Sandinista Government for the works carried out, a change that they see from the entrance to this shopping center, which encourages them to work hard every day, as stated by Mrs. Josefa Cisneros García from the dining room " Coquito”.
