On the morning of this Sunday, February 12, the National Congress and Training of the Williamsport Little League Program took place, in the auditorium of Parque Las Madres.
In this training that was carried out with representatives of all the departments of Nicaragua, details of the formats and competition bases for this year 2023 were given.
Likewise, it was stated that the Nicaraguan Little League Champion will participate in the LX Latin American Children's Baseball Series 2023, which will take place in Maracaibo, Venezuela in July.
"Celebrating the national congress of little leagues with great success, promoting children's baseball in both the male and female branches in our country, an event attended by delegations from León, Chinandega, Rivas, Matagalpa, Estelí and all activities are being coordinated. For the Williamsport national tournaments and for international events, we are expanding the work networks, the idea is to continue fighting in Latin American little league baseball,” said Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.
Last year Nicaragua, Managua, hosted this Latin American series where the pinolero team qualified for the Little League World Cup in Pennsylvania, United States.
