






Paying tribute to the great composer and creator of Son Nica, the Municipality inaugurated this Friday, February 10, the Casa de Culture and Creativity “Camilo Zapata”, located in the Altamira sector, in District I of Managua.
During the inauguration, Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado stressed that it is part of the Good Government's commitment to rescue and strengthen art and culture, starting with music.
"As of today, it is available to all families in the municipality, this house has capacity for 180 students in different disciplines of music, we have the art of piano, violin, guitar and we have a good team of teachers ”, said Rueda.
This is the second space that opens its doors in the capital, to provide free training to children and young people, to develop their talents in music, dance, theater and plastic arts.
“An act of great gratitude and recognition, to the pioneer of Son Nica who gives us identity and pride with his music, with Camilo national music is inaugurated, here Son Nica will be alive and playing, this is thanks to the Revolution, we have a Camilo Zapata forever and is the legacy for the new generations”, recalled Wilmor López, Promoter of Culture.
Within the artistic courses that will be taught are the courses of popular guitar, popular and classical piano, violin, popular singing and vocal technique. They are inclusive and comprehensive courses, aimed at the entire population, during office hours from Monday to Friday. from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
