Young people ready with Beach Volleyball training

With the aim of promoting more spaces for healthy recreation and strengthening the sport, the Managua Mayor's Office began training at the Beach Volleyball Academy on the Paseo Xolotlán courts, starting this Monday, February 6.

The training will be from Monday to Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon, totally free and young people who wish to register can do so the day they arrive at the practices, the only thing they must present is a photocopy of their ID and the of his parents, as reported by Noel González, Director of Sports of the commune.

"Currently we have 42 registered athletes, practices are every day, in the two years that this academy has been operating, good physical preparation and team unification have been achieved, the kids are already preparing for the next Youth Games , the national beach volleyball tours, the friendly matches in the departments and the internal leagues that are organized between the secondary schools and the universities of the capital”, added González.

Kathering Juniet Vallejos Sobalvarro has been training at this academy for two years and since she began to practice this sport her discipline and concentration have strengthened.

"Since I started playing beach volleyball my life changed, because this sport is strong, to be good you have to focus, I'm 16 years old and thanks to the schedule I can study and train," said Vallejos.

Kamil Yaret Fletes, 17 years old, has also been part of the academy for two years. When he started he was in his fourth year of high school and from this year on he will have to go to the university and continue his training.
