Calles para el Pueblo resurfaces 2 blocks in residential Las Palmas in District II

In restitution of the rights of families to walk and transit on beautiful and safe streets, the Municipality resurfaced 2 blocks in the Las Palmas residential area, through the Streets for the People Program, which brings safety to its inhabitants and surrounding sectors.

This inauguration of work was attended by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who announced that the improvement had an investment of 2 million 200 thousand córdobas and benefited 1,292 protagonists.

“They are two very long streets, which will allow the brothers in the area to move more calmly, we are talking about that already with these two streets we have an advance of 9.32 percent in the Streets for the People Program, these are streets 82 This year, more than 200 families have benefited here," said Armas.

The protagonist Marbely García, expressed that they will now have greater accessibility, because the streets were in poor condition, "thank God, our government, complying with the Managuas to improve living conditions, the work they are doing is being seen, now to take care of them”.

For this year, the Streets for the People Program, in District II, will invest 13 million córdobas in the construction of 19 blocks in the neighborhoods: Santa Ana, Anexo Las Brisas, Linda Vista Norte, Las Palmas, Batahola Norte, Monseñor Lezcano, South Batahola and Cuba neighborhood.
