The Streets for the People Program built 3 blocks of streets for the inhabitants of the Hilario Sánchez neighborhood, located in District IV, which were inaugurated by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, on the afternoon of this Thursday, January 26.
The road improvement work had an investment of 1.1 million córdobas and benefits 7 thousand 65 protagonists.
"We see the transformation in the neighborhoods of Managua, less than 3 months ago we had delivered a little more than 4 blocks in the north of here and today we are completing those new blocks, meeting the demand and bringing our Good Government well-being to a little more than 1,200 families,” reported Rueda.
In the Hilario Sánchez neighborhood, from 2010 to 2022, 18.3 million córdobas have been invested in road projects, storm drainage, water and sanitation, as well as the construction of 37 Decent Homes for vulnerable families.
"Before this was just dirt, dust, stone, now they are better, thank God, the President and the Mayor, that we have good streets, and the children will be able to play and the businesses will have more sales," said the resident Junieth Díaz.
