Asphalt coating project in 11 blocks of the Los Membreños region

In the next few days, families from the Los Membreños region will enjoy their 11 new blocks, an asphalt coating project carried out by the Municipality in this community of District I, through the Streets for the People 2023 Program.

The road improvement work will benefit 865 inhabitants, with an investment of 7 million 782 thousand 984 córdobas, which will guarantee well-being, safety and health to 174 families who will no longer suffer from poor road conditions, as reported by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during a supervision visit on the morning of this Tuesday, January 24.

Likewise, the capital official shared that this emblematic program is progressing satisfactorily, "we already have 57 new streets in Managua, in these first days of January, we have progressed 6%, but the important thing is that we are going to have streets in 105 neighborhoods with the Streets for the People project this year, on the instructions of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario, both on asphalt and hydraulic concrete streets”.

For their part, the families expressed their happiness for this great work that they waited for more than 40 years, today they can already see their dream come true.

"We are happy, happy, thanks to God and our Good Government, the children will now be able to go to school without any problem, without dust, without electricity," said the protagonist Flor de María Larios.

Yolanda Camacho, said that they feel grateful because they were forgotten, "we had never been taken into account before, in winter we had to cross the path, now we feel happy about this triumph, with this new benefit that they have given us ”.
