





Committed to promoting the sport, to improve every day and polish new talents, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, officially started classes at the Taekwondo Academy for children, youth and adolescents, who can learn, practice and develop in this sport for free.
“Today afternoon we are inaugurating the Taekwondo 2023 classes, to more than 200 children who are part of the 3 academies, here in the Alexis Argüello Sports Complex districts I, II and III are concentrated, another academy in Huembes with children and young people from districts IV and V, we are also opening a new space for districts VI and VII”, shared the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López.
In the Taekwondo academies, the classes will be taught from Monday to Friday, from 2:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon, registration is open for parents to take their children from 4 years of age to 17, this as part of the support for sports and family recreation provided by the Good Government.
"It really is something very important, physical exercise for adolescent children, in a recreational way, this helps us to form as people and fill us with many values, we invite all children and adolescents who want to participate in this beautiful sport" he said the instructor Jaqueline Argeñal.
