Short Essay Contest in honor of the birth of the Father of Modernism

Giving continuity to the Dariana Day 2023, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua held on the morning of this Thursday, January 19, the Launch of the Short Essay Contest, in homage to the Prince of Castilian Letters Rubén Darío, on the 156th anniversary of his birth.

From today until February 1, the participants will have to send their text to the mail [email protected]. Likewise, the texts must comply with a formal format, that is, type of letter: time New Roman, size 12, spacing 1.5, good spelling, writing, must include: introduction, development, conclusion and bibliography, highlighted Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.

Likewise, the writing must be inspired by the life and work of the Procer of Cultural Independence and National Hero, Rubén Darío.

“We are celebrating the life of Rubén Darío, Father of the Modernist Movement, Prince of Castilian Letters. This contest will be a way for both young people and adults to write about his legacy, his life, his great work in poetry, diplomacy, journalism” commented Geraldine Domínguez, representative of the Lolita Soriano Museum.
