



On the afternoon of this Wednesday, January 18, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua made the presentation of the participating teams in the third edition of the First Division Women's Volleyball League, as part of the support provided by the Good Government to the sport in its different disciplines.
This sports day was presented by the Alexis Argüello Sports Movement, the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation and Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who expressed the commitment of the Sandinista government to continue promoting the sport in the new generations.
During this third edition of the volleyball championship, 10 teams from different departments of the country will participate, who will compete for first place in this sports tournament for 4 months.
The first game of this tournament will take place this coming Saturday, January 21, starting at 1:00 in the afternoon, at the España Sports Center, the sub 19 game between UNAN Managua and Real Estelí, parallel to the second The indigenous people of Matagalpa will play the field against the Tigresas of Chinandega.
Part of the participating teams are the Leonas de Managua, Jaguares de la UAM, Frente Sur de Rivas, Real Estelí, Panteras de Managua, Tiburonas de Granada, Indígenas de Matagalpa, Tigresas de Chinandega, UNAN Managua and the Brumas de Jinotega.
The matches will be played in different sports venues in the country, among them, at the España Sports Center, at the IND gym, at the Jaguar Center of the American University, at the Humberto Méndez de Rivas gym, at the El Brigadista de Matagalpa Sports Center and on the Otto Casco Court in Jinotega.
