Inauguration of the Indoor Volleyball School

Following the guidance of the Good Government to promote and foster sport in the new generations, this Monday, January 16, the indoor volleyball classes began, taught by the sports academy of the Managua Mayor's Office, corresponding to the year 2023.

This new day of sports education was inaugurated by Jennifer Porras López, Secretary of the Managua Council, who expressed that these classes are totally free and the requirement is to be between 6 and 17 years old, the classes will be taught on the indoor volleyball courts from the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, Monday through Friday from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. .

The capital official reported that support for sports has been in all disciplines, resulting in the formation of 13 academies of different sports disciplines and with more than 30 schools, which teach classes in the 7 districts of Managua.

In the same way, it was announced that the outstanding Costa Rican coach Julio Alfaro is joining the coaching staff of the indoor volleyball academy, who said that it is an honor to be part of the coaching team, for which he expressed he will give his best and will transmit his experience of more than 30 years in teaching this sport.

    Dear colleagues from the Mayor's Office of Managua, with regard to the Indoor Volleyball classes, you should update the information, since the page starts classes from 3 to 6 pm and when you arrive at the place they say that this schedule is not available, several young people withdrew when they could not find any instructor.
