As a blessing, residents of the Carlos Fonseca Amador neighborhood received 7 new blocks of streets, built by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, which brings well-being to all the families of this community, who now have better access roads and living conditions .
The work for the common good had an investment of 4,203,750 córdobas and makes 625 families (4,420 inhabitants) protagonists of rights, reported Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
“We started the year 2023 with a lot of energy, with a lot of faith, delivering a work of transformation to all the brothers in this neighborhood, here we listened to these families in each one of the meetings and they made us aware of those difficulties they had at the time of It rained and today our government is complying with them, Commander Daniel and our Vice President, Compañera Rosario listened to our people, they are responding little by little, eliminating critical points in each of the neighborhoods and communities,” said Rueda.
In recent years, the Municipality has invested an amount of more than 8 million córdobas, in works to restore rights to families in this neighborhood of the capital, with the construction of 9 decent homes, road improvement works and storm drainage.
The delivery of the work was accompanied by cultural presentations, face painting clowns and contests for the little ones, where the protagonists enjoyed a recreational afternoon.
"It is a work that the residents were waiting for, we must be aware that we needed these streets and now we must take care of them," said the resident Vilma Martínez Lara.
For his part, Mr. Jorge Santos, stated that they are happy to see the progress in his neighborhood and thanked the authorities for bringing them this joy of having new streets, "thanks to God and our government we feel honored, let's always move forward with the Sandinista Front”.
