Rehabilitation works in the Baseball Stadium of the San Luis neighborhood

The Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua continues to work for the well-being, the common and healthy recreation of the families of the capital, executing rehabilitation works in the Baseball Stadium, located in the San Luis neighborhood of District IV of Managua.

The work that benefits 8,500 inhabitants, consisted of the repair of 170 linear meters of fencing, installation of 7 solar lights with metal posts and concrete pedestals, maintenance of 3,530 square meters of paint, repair of the Dugouts and general cleaning, such as part of the first phase of rehabilitation of this Baseball Stadium.

The reopening ceremony was attended by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who stressed that children's, youth, major A and recreational baseball is played in this field every day and it is one of the neighborhoods that has produced the most ball players for the different teams and the National Team Nacional de Béisbol de Nicaragua and was enabled at the beginning of the 80s.

"Investments have been made here, little by little, and the idea is to light up this stadium so that baseball can be played at night. The children and youngsters of the San Luis neighborhood were satisfied, because now they will have better conditions to practice this sport, as stated by Erjam Said Saldaña Rojas, belonging to the academy of this populous neighborhood.
