The Fifth Softball League "Victorious Mothers" is successfully carried out

This Saturday, December 3, authorities from the capital inaugurated the fifth women's softball league "Victorious Mothers", a sports day organized by the Mayor's Office of Managua at the Hugo Chávez Sports Complex in Colonia 14 de Septiembre, as part of the promotion and support to sport in its different disciplines.

The competition was chaired by Jennifer Porras López, who expressed that 10 teams from Managua and one from Masaya participate in this tournament, from which the first places will come out.

"Here we have more than 142 women, who will compete for first place, the vast majority of whom are mothers, sisters or guardians of the children who are students of the children's baseball academies of the Managua Mayor's Office," said Porras.

These softball leagues are held every weekend, for a period of 6 months, in the stadiums of the Hugo Chávez sports complex and the Roberto Clemente children's stadium in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park.
