Developing more security and well-being projects for families in the capital, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua executes an improvement project, through the Stabilization of Slope with Gabions on the slopes of the riverbed located in the Vista Xolotlán neighborhood, in District V of the capital.
The work consists of the stabilization of 60 linear meters of gabions, with an investment of 971 thousand 175 córdobas, which benefits 4,596 protagonists, divided into 656 families, shared the Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during a supervision visit, the afternoon of This Thursday, December 1.
“In this final stretch of winter 2022, emergency work is being done here, the rain did a lot of damage where this channel did not exist before, 10 years ago this was a street that we fixed, but runoff has been affecting this area, some houses have been left almost up in the air, but they are going to work intensely to resolve this situation, that is what President Daniel and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario, have directed,” Armas explained.
Likewise, he announced that in Vista Xolotlán 9 Decent Homes have been delivered and in recent years more than 22 million córdobas have been invested in Road Improvement Projects, Storm Drainage and Sanitary Works, to transform and improve the lives of its inhabitants. .
