Comarca La Montañita of District Vl with works of the Common Good

An emergency work for the protection of families, through the Construction of a Gabion Wall, is executed by the Municipality in the La Montañita Region, located in District VI.

The project consists of the installation of 200 linear meters, equivalent to 400 units of gabions, which has an investment of 2 million 126 thousand 897.40 Cordobas and is part of the Winter Plan 2022, announced Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during a tour of the work.

“We are doing a series of very important jobs, guided by President Daniel and Compañera Rosario to benefit and help more than 300 residents of the sector, many compañeros live here who grow corn, beans, even tilapia, to satisfy consumption. of fish in the capital”, said the mayor of the capital.

The Municipality in recent years has substantially reduced these critical points, going from 133 in 2009, to 55 critical points this year, 78 have been eliminated.

Work continues with the execution of important drainage improvement works in Managua, through the Winter 2022 Plan, such as the lining of the last stage of the Domitila Lugo riverbed, lining of a new stage in the La Primavera riverbed, improvement of storm drainage in the La Cruz del Paraíso region, as well as the construction of 2 bridge boxes in the Enrique Smith and Anexo a Villa Libertad neighborhoods, the mayor of the capital highlighted.

“It is a great relief that they build the wall with gabions, because here every time it rains we are impassable, now we are going to be better,” said the resident Hazel Santos.
