Youth Games promote healthy recreation in Soccer leagues

For a youth free from vices, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in coordination with Youth Affairs of the National Police, held another day of Futsal this Sunday, November 20, on the courts of the Hugo Chávez Complex of the Colony September 14.

These Managua 2022 Youth Games host more than 20 sports disciplines, "we are at two points, both in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, and in the 14 de Septiembre field, it is a joint effort, all these young people have the opportunity and the space for healthy recreation in the centers managed by the Mayor's Office of Managua”, affirmed Noel González, Director of Sports of the capital city.

Likewise, he affirmed that with this initiative more than 50,000 young people are brought together in Managua and it is expected that next year more sports disciplines and federations will be added that also want to be part of the Youth Games, which will reach the finals in December. .

The young participants in the competition expressed that it is a good strategy because it prevents them from falling into drugs, "it is a space to bring young people from different neighborhoods, who need to come to recreate and teach them values," said Danny Solís Zelaya.

Manuel de Jesús Sánchez, from the Hilario Sánchez neighborhood, stated that in this way youth is not wasted and called on young people to practice sports.
