Streets for the People are executed in the Villa Libertad Annex of District VII

Thanks to the efforts and work articulated by the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, families from the Villa Libertad Annex will be the new beneficiaries of the Streets for the People Program, with the construction of 268.54 equivalent linear meters 3 blocks from asphalt mix, with an investment of 2 million 759 thousand 227 córdobas.

In a supervision visit for the work, on the morning of this Thursday, November 17, Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales shared that the Anexo Villa Libertad neighborhood has 14,000 inhabitants, distributed among 1,826 families that will benefit from the improvement of their streets and is expected to be ready next week.

"So to all the residents of this sector and for La Gritería, on December 7 these streets will be spectacular, it is a highly favored area all these years by the Government of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario, 61 streets have been delivered here new this year,” Armas said.

Likewise, he announced that in the Villa Libertad Annex, road improvement works, storm drainage, sanitary drainage, construction of vehicular bridges, construction of bridge box, gutters, platforms, stabilization of channels and the construction of more than 20 houses have been carried out. solidarity, with an investment of more than 70 million córdobas, through the Annual Investment Plan and the Streets for the People Project.

The residents expressed their joy, after 32 years of waiting, "all our lives we have wanted this project, thanks to our Government, a long time ago we expected this desire to have the neighborhood very beautiful, we have been coming since the neighborhood was founded, we did not have water, no electricity, but today, thank God, we have improved, we have prospered”, said the protagonist Marly Altamirano Espinoza.

To date, the emblematic Streets for the People Program has progressed by 96.67 percent with 907 new blocks.
