Good Government delivers 100 homes in Villa Santiago of District VI

Reaching more families, on the morning of this Saturday, November 5, the Municipality delivered 100 new homes from the Bismarck Martínez Program in the Villa Santiago Urbanization of District VI, which join the 3,100 homes delivered in the Villa Jerusalem and Villa Flor de Pino.

With these new houses, 3,200 homes have been built and delivered to the same number of protagonist families, through the Bismarck Martínez Program in Managua, in addition to the delivery of 1,500 lots in Villa Esperanza.

"We are in celebration with the 100 families that today we are giving them a housing solution, thanks to the efforts of our Good Government, celebrating hope, life, the future, transformations, well-being and security with these families," said the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

Also, he highlighted that the commune has 5 urbanizations in which work is being done simultaneously. The Villa Santiago urbanization was inaugurated in April 2021, with the delivery of 71 homes to the families that were relocated, due to the expansion of the San Juan Pablo II runway and financed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).

 "Here we are going to have 232 homes in this urbanization, today we have delivered 171 homes, we are already moving forward with the delivery of homes in Villa Santiago," reported Rueda.

For their part, the protagonist families expressed their happiness at fulfilling the dream of their lives, "to have a house for myself and my daughter, especially with the difficulties one has in obtaining a house, with accessible credit, to have this benefit from the government is a great blessing, it is one more example that all taxes are invested”, said Tania Rivera Amador.

Mr. Oscar Baltodano declared that it was a surprise to receive the news of the delivery of his home, “they told me to wait for a call in 8 months and two months had passed and they told me come on, they are going to deliver your home, never I hope it was so soon."

The new homes have a construction area of 52 square meters, with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, as well as a living room, kitchen and dining room, their walls completely plastered and they already have all their basic services, drinking water, electricity , public lighting, streets and platforms of hydraulic concrete for the welfare of the protagonist families.
