The National Volleyball Team won the silver medal in the Men's Central American Volleyball Tournament in the U21 category, which was held on the night of this Monday, October 24, in the capital of Central American sports.
The grand finale of the sporting event was attended by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who congratulated the Nicaraguan team for having obtained the Central American runner-up in this volleyball tournament, the Guatemalan team winning the championship and Panama third place.
"We must recognize the great work of the pinolero team, which had managed to win the two previous editions, but today achieved a creditable second place, which guarantees its participation in the next NORCECA for young people under 21 years of age, so Nicaragua continues shining, we have had a year full of Central American tournaments of the most diverse disciplines and we hope that with the government of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario supporting children's and youth sports, we will have a great year 2023 in the sports field”, expressed Armas.
This Central American Men's Volleyball Tournament, which was a complete success, took place from October 18 to 24, in the cathedral of Latin American sports, the Alexis Argüello Sports Center, where admission was completely free, thanks to the support of the Good Government to the different sports disciplines.
"An unforgettable experience, very happy, a hard-fought money, it is a dream come true to play here at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center, I wanted to represent my country and it is a great pride for me, my family who support me every day" said the national team, Axel Altamirano.
