The Mayor's Office of Managua and different departments of the country, together with the Alexis Argüello Sports Movement and the Nicaraguan Basketball Federation, began the "William Ramírez" National 3v3 Tournament on the courts of Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park, on the afternoon of this Wednesday October 19.
This tournament will be held in 16 venues nationwide, where the 3vs3 qualifiers will take place, thanks to the support of the Sandinista Government, shared Compañero Noel González, Director of Sports of the Municipality.
"The grand final of this tournament in the male and female branch will be in the month of December here in the capital, where all the champions of the different teams will converge, to bring out the representation of Nicaragua, which will be in the international championship, In Managua we have the largest number, we are going to have 3 qualifiers, both in Ciudad Sandino and in Mateare” said Comrade Noel González, Director of Sports of the Managua Mayor's Office.
Likewise, he stressed that this is a sports discipline that has had quite a boom, there was already representation by Nicaragua in a Latin American event that took place in El Salvador, Real Estelí and the Leones de la Alcaldía de Managua, who participated.
