On the night of this Friday, October 14, the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, together with the President of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, Engineer Bertha Cuadra, led the U21 National Team for the Central American Volleyball Tournament, to be held in the capital.
This Central American U21 tournament will take place from October 18 to 24, in the cathedral of Latin American sports, Alexis Argüello Sports Center and will include the participation of all Central American countries, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and Nicaragua.
”Once again we are filled with glory, with pride for all the national and international events that we have held in our Sports Capital, as we are recognized for the significant investment in sports infrastructure, today we are announcing the U21 men's volleyball championship, where Our team that is present is going to hand over the flag, which is part of the commitment and trust that we have in young people,” said Mayor Rueda.
He also reported that the champion of this tournament, will participate in the Pan American Games to be held next year in Santiago de Chile.
"We are going to defend the Central American championship in this category for the third time, for us it is a great satisfaction to be in our country defending this championship, because we are going to have our public supporting us," said Cuadra, President of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation.
To support to the Nicaraguan team, families will be able to enjoy this tournament completely free, thanks to the promotion of sport carried out by the Good Government in the different disciplines.
