With the fight exhibition of the students of the William Ramírez Taekwondo Academy of the Municipality, the presentation of the Axes of Work and Lines of Action for the period 2023-2027 began, with the Organizations and Sports Federations of the VI Districts and VII of the Capital.
The meetings were accompanied by the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado and the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López, who shared that this proposal is to continue promoting sports in the capital, with more sports infrastructures.
Also, there was the presence of the representative of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Bismarck Morales, Los Gemelos Alvarado, relatives of Ratón Mojica and the sports academies of the Municipality.
Rueda, unveiled the plan for the 2023-2027 electoral triumph "Unity for Prosperity" that will guarantee the leadership of the capital's youth, at the same time reiterated the commitment of the Sandinista Front to continue projects that benefit the population such as the Bismarck Martínez homes, storm drainage projects, road projects, free access to sports and more study scholarships.
"It is exciting to see how the Mayor's Office and the Government of Nicaragua deal with sports to help young people, that these young people are not on the street and have a place to go in all disciplines, to children, young people who must be cultivated now, now that they are small and for that you have to have spaces, without space there can be no boxing”, expressed Bismarck Morales.
Likewise, the capital authorities indicated that Managua has high-level facilities, which motivates young people to practice more sports, through the 31 academies of the capital in their different disciplines, where excellent results have been achieved in different sporting events, such as the children who represented the country in the WilliamSport League.
Sabomnim Pierson Gutiérrez, instructor of the William Ramírez Taekwondo Academy, said that with the Good Government great positive changes have been achieved in this discipline, "we appreciate this support that the government has given us, and this project has been going on for two years, we have an academy that it has been a success, with an enrollment of 95 students and growing, that has been excellent, if it were not for the support of both the facilities that they have provided us and that the parents have trusted in this Good Government, they have our support for all this work they have been doing.”
