Continental Beach Volleyball Championship in Nicaragua

As part of the promotion of sports in its different disciplines, the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of Managua, is holding for the second time the Latin American Beach Volleyball Championship of the Norceca Tour 2022, on the first-level courts on Paseo Xolotlán .

This is the fifth date of the Latin American Tournament where 10 teams will qualify for the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games, with the participation of teams from Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, United States, Trinidad and Tobago, Virgin Islands, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia and Nicaragua.

"Today the fifth stop of the Norceca Tour in Nicaragua is inaugurated, where 12 countries are competing, in this Paseo Xolotlán that houses this tour, where it has 3 fields that the Managua Mayor's Office and the Good Government of Commander Daniel have arranged for this tournament, since 2019 we have not had a Norceca Tour, the opportunity is given and we hope that the Nicaraguan teams have an outstanding participation and above all that the participants have a good experience in our country, land of lakes and volcanoes, Nicaragua hosts them and invites you to enjoy”, said Noel González, Sports Director of the capital city.

Bertha Cuadra, President of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, thanked the Sandinista Government for its support for this competition, "I thank God, our government and the Mayor's Office of Managua who have made it possible for this continental championship to take place in our country, in These world-class courts, it is the second time that we have held this championship on this same court, the fifth stop and it is also a qualifier for the Central American and Caribbean and Pan American Games”.

The matches of the men's and women's branches were held from October 7 to 9.
