The Mayor's Office of Managua continues the construction of a new sanitary drainage system in the Vista Xolotlán neighborhood, located in District VII, the project is carried out through the Annual Investment Plan and is a response to the more sensitive demand that the 76 families that live in the fourth stage of the neighborhood, with this project the 786 families in this sector are connected to the sanitation system 100 percent.
This work for the common good has an investment of 4 million 600 thousand córdobas and an advance of 45 percent, as reported by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during a supervision tour.
"We are in the fourth stage of the Vista Xolotlán neighborhood, here we are connecting 76 families to sanitary drainage, 832 linear meters of sanitary pipe are also being installed and 17 viewing wells have been built, we have been doing this project in stages, here are a population of more than 4 thousand brothers and sisters, with this work the right to live better is restored, which is the purpose of our Good Government”, indicated the mayor of the capital.
Rueda shared with the protagonists of the project that the Municipality from 2009 to 2022 has invested 38.9 million córdobas in different projects in this neighborhood and that a road improvement project is being carried out simultaneously with this work, to build new streets.
"The change of latrines to better conditions will be something important in our lives, because we are already going to have sewage, thanks to our Commander, only he has cared about the poor, I feel very happy," said the protagonist Gladys Gutiérrez.
