Mayoress of Managua presents Proposals and Work Commitments to UNAN students and teachers

With the firm commitment to continue for more progress in the next 5 years, the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, made the Presentation of the Axes of Work and Lines of Action to be carried out in the capital during the period 2023-2027, to Movements Students and Teachers of the Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN), this Tuesday, September 27, in the Roberto González auditorium.

The Mayor and Candidate of the FSLN Alliance, United Nicaragua Triunfa of the municipality of Managua, announced that this proposal has already begun and will be carried out in the coming days with different social sectors.

“For us it is a privilege, because we have a close articulation with our university, we have work in common, with the environment, such as the census that we carried out at the municipal level, where 25 students from the biology and environmental engineering careers supported us, the census It consisted of surveying all tree species in the capital, as well as road improvement works, thanks to that support, united in improving living conditions and today we are pleased to share with the students and authorities of UNAN-Managua ”, said Wheel.

Mayor Rueda shared that this plan consists of 5 axes of work and lines of action within the emblematic projects that include the construction of 5 overpasses on the Pista San Juan Pablo II, the construction of the Las Piedrecitas park, construction of urbanizations, construction of the Bosques de Esquipulas cemetery, the rehabilitation of Laguna de Tiscapa public space and the construction of the Managua 1972 Memorial park.

For his part, the Vice Chancellor General of UNAN-Managua, Dr. Luis Alfredo Lobato Blanco, stated that this Alma Mater will continue to support the work of the mayors, in particular the Mayor of Managua, "we have a woman in charge of the Mayor fighter, example of work, of mysticism, that we know will respond to all Managuas, for us as a university of the people and for the people we feel recognized by this visit that we know will be to the liking of the entire institution”.
