Decent housing fills the elderly mother with joy in the La Primavera neighborhood

The Decent Housing program promoted by the Good Government of the Sandinista Front, to combat the vulnerability of families living at risk, continues to transform lives in the different districts of the Capital, the protagonist Griselda del Carmen Álvarez is the new beneficiary, For more than 15 years, she lived with her only son in a situation of critical social emergency, in the La Primavera neighborhood of District VI.

When delivering the new home, the Secretary of the Municipal Council, Jennifer Porras López, explained that this is house number 72 that the Government of Commander Daniel and Vice President Rosario Murillo is building in this neighborhood.

In the same way, he shared with the residents that the Commune has invested a little more than 138 million córdobas in this neighborhood, from 2012 to 2022 in different projects.

“Today, thanks to God, to this sensitive and revolutionary government that thinks for the most impoverished families, we continue to give that leap and transformation to the lives of these families who lived in vulnerability, since 2009, when this beautiful program has been running, we have delivered 72 homes here in La Primavera, a neighborhood that has had very significant investments, is 138 million córdobas, which we have developed in storm drainage works, sanitary drainage, road works, because for our Good Government, families and their demands are a priority. ”, stated Porras.

The protagonist Griselda Álvarez, who is elderly and works as a vector control technician, thanked the benefit that will change her life and that of her son forever.

“I feel blessed, happy, prosperous and victorious, grateful first of all to God, for having my decent home and to the Sandinista Government, presided over by Commander Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo, today the dream of many years has come true, because the Mayor's Office of Managua and the Good Government helped me, when it rained my son and I had to take turns to watch during the night, because the rain got into us from all sides”, said the beneficiary.
