Good Government authorities inaugurate Lolita Soriano Museum

In support of the promotion of art and culture, and paying tribute to the memory of an outstanding Nicaraguan teacher and writer, Good Government authorities inaugurated the Lolita Soriano Museum.

Nicaraguan families will be able to visit the museum from Monday to Friday from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, to learn about the life and work of this remarkable intellectual, who dedicated her life to art and culture, for which She was consecrated as the Godmother of the Artists of Nicaragua.

This museum has a reception area and 10 museographic exhibition spaces, where a chronology of the most relevant events of Lolita Soriano is offered, as well as the collection of Long Play acetate records and 45 revolutions by numerous composers, several musical instruments, original paintings painted by renowned artists; in addition, an audiovisual room, a photography gallery, an archeology and crafts room, as well as a library, with books written by Lolita with her husband Julián Guerrero.

Doña Lolita Soriano, since her student days, was very talented in dancing, singing and declamation; she graduated as a teacher from the Colegio de Señoritas de Managua; studied Child Psychology to know how to treat children with special care; he also excelled in theater and declamation.
