Patriotic Civic Digital Collection Presentation

Celebrating the National Month and the 166th anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua presented the Patriotic Civic Collection, made up of a compendium of 45 books and digital magazines on archeology and history of Nicaragua.

The presentation of this digital publication was chaired by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who stated that this is a new contribution, offered by the Sandinista Government to the rescue of historical memory, which includes digital documents that address issues from the years from indigenous resistance to Spanish colonization to the historic feat of the Battle of San Jacinto.

Also, in this presentation, the Capital Commune received recognition from the Nicaraguan Association of Librarians for the contribution to the promotion of reading, the rescue of historical memory and the strengthening of national identity, through these publications.
