Capital markets with patriotic discounts and progress of works

In direct communication with the merchants of the different markets, municipal authorities visited the Oriental market this Friday, September 9, to verify the supply of products, the stability of prices and the progress of the execution of works.

During the tour, the merchants invited the families to make their purchases in these popular markets where they are offered uniforms, typical costumes, footwear and other articles that are used in this season of national holidays; This was stated by the merchant Yesenia Pérez.

Freddy Casco, General Director of the Municipal Corporation of Markets of Managua COMMEMA, informed that for this year the Municipality will invest resources for the execution of projects in the 8 capital markets, among them the Oriental where more than 30 paved blocks were recently delivered; as well as a street in the La Caimana sector and a gutter construction project.

Also, a sanitary sewerage project was executed through which 530 linear meters were installed in zone III, connecting 90 families and 30 commercial sections to the sanitary drainage; likewise, in the month of August, another similar project was delivered in the sector of the old Jabonería Las Américas; where they installed another 120 linear meters of sewage with 18 household connections and the road improvement of 3 new blocks.
