Special Plan of Streets is executed in the Carlos Marx District VI

Reaching more families, the streets for the people program builds 5 new blocks of streets in the Carlos Marx neighborhood of District VI of the capital, with an investment of two million 805 thousand 600 córdobas, which directly benefits more than 4 thousand inhabitants.

With the new road improvement work, this emblematic program reaches a progress of 90.41 percent with 848.36 blocks served, thus guaranteeing better road and pedestrian conditions.

The Vice Mayor of Managua, Compañero Enrique Armas Rosales, attended the supervision tour, who stated that with these 5 blocks 60 percent of the streets in this neighborhood are already lined, "significant investments had already been made here, in 2015 and 2017 in drainage and road improvement works.

The residents were satisfied with the execution of the project and stated that the new streets change their lives, as Mrs. María Concepción López Sandoval said, "the streets are making them beautiful, not even to see how they were before, I have more than 30 years of living here and the streets have always been dirt, thank God and our Government we will no longer have those big stones”.

"We have progress in this neighborhood, we have been waiting for these streets for 35 years," said resident Norma Mayorga.

For this year 2022, with the Annual Investment Plan (PIA) in District VI, the Municipality will execute 26 projects with an investment of 37 million 384 thousand 775 córdobas, thanks to the trust of taxpayers.
