Delivery of recognition to outstanding women from the districts of Managua

From the Model of Faith, Family and Community promoted by the Sandinista Government, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua gave recognitions to outstanding women in the political, social and community sphere, on the morning of this Friday, September 2.

More than 500 women from the districts of the capital were recognized for their leading leadership in different areas of life and mainly as promoters of rights and the common good in neighborhoods and communities.

"Initiating the campaign of the Women We Are Free Homeland, we are going to have a series of municipal activities with a lot of color, culture, giving that much-deserved recognition to the thousands of women who have been participants in all the advances in women's rights" said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the Women's Meeting.

The protagonist Juana Argeñal, stated that the Good Government through the different institutions has been strengthening the family culture, "the respect of all for the good family coexistence between mothers, fathers, men and women, so that in this way we can go out in front of the great challenges that we women have”.
