With the clear commitment to guarantee better living conditions for families in the capital, this Monday, August 29, municipal authorities visited the road improvement project that is being carried out in the Waspán Norte neighborhood, where the asphalt coating of 4 blocks that were on land is being carried out. , through the Special Plan for Streets for the People 2022.
The supervision visit was led by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that progress is being made with the Annual Investment Plan in this district, which to date has a scope of more than 60 percent execution.
"We are delivering these works of transformation for families, welfare, health, today these 4 blocks are ready for the families of Waspán Norte, but here what we are going to deliver is a road corridor, which comes to connect the Hugo neighborhood Chávez with Waspán Norte, that is part of the connection of all the neighborhoods that we have in the districts,” said Rueda.
He also reported that the work has an investment of 2 million 177 thousand córdobas and benefits 950 families and more than 5 thousand protagonists in the area, guaranteeing them well-being and future, with better access and vehicular circulation.
He stressed that, to date, the Streets for the People Program has progressed 89 percent, with 836 blocks improved, of the 976 projected for this year, with the incorporation of the Special Plan.
