Capital authorities receive the children who participated in the Little League World Cup

The President's Good Government of the People led by Commander Daniel and Vice President Compañera Rosario, through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua received the Nicaragua B National Children's Baseball Team, represented by the September 14 team who participated in Little League World Cup in Pennsylvania.

The little heroes arrived in the country on the night of this Sunday, August 28, after making history in this Williamsport World Series that took place from the 17th to the 28th of the same month, being among the four best teams in the international tournament.

The Nicaraguan team had three very important victories with baseball powerhouses such as; Puerto Rico, Japan and Panama. The winners filled an entire country with great pride that supported them from start to finish in this sporting fair, "we are very happy and proud to have them here," said Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

"Each game we always put Nicaragua first, we gave our best to have a good tournament," said team member Luis Garcia.
