New streets arrive in the Aquiles Morales neighborhood of District III

Authorities of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated on the afternoon of this Thursday, August 25, 2022, a road improvement project through asphalt coating in the Aquiles Morales neighborhood, located in District III of Managua, with which the 100 percent of its streets served.

Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado delivered the work to the community and shared that 3 blocks that were in poor condition were paved, with an investment of 2,550,255 córdobas through the Calles para el Pueblo 2022 Program.

"We continue to deliver these transformation works in the different neighborhoods of our capital, thanks to the political will of our Good Government to improve living conditions, where families travel safely, but above all with dignity," said Rueda.

This work for the common good will directly benefit 942 inhabitants, divided into 198 families, which in addition to contributing to improving their conditions and that of the surroundings, guarantees them a passable and accessible road network.

The residents shared their satisfaction upon receiving this work, "these streets were impassable because every time it rained it was muddy and impossible for vehicles to enter, thanks to the Lord, first we had sewage, electricity and now that we have the streets that have been repaired ”, said the protagonist Argelia Almanza.

Calles Para el Pueblo 2022 has a progress to date of 84.70 % with a total of 826.66 blocks completed of the 976 to be completed this year.
