“Today we deliver this house with a lot of love, with a lot of commitment, but above all asking God for that strength, that wisdom to continue accompanying Commander Daniel and our Vice President, Compañera Rosario, in these restitution of rights, in those profound transformations of diminishing extreme poverty,” said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
Likewise, the mayor of the capital announced that, in this neighborhood of District I, the delivery of this house to the protagonist Martina represents number 12 of the Decent Housing Program, which since its inception in 2007, prioritizes the lives of people that have been in risky places for years and this year continues to work to deliver 200 decent homes to the same number of families.
For her part, the beneficiary said she felt happy to see the change in her house, "I thank God, the Government, my partner Reyna Rueda and those who made it possible to build my little house, the conditions of my old house were terrible, the water got into me and I'm happy because now I don't get wet anymore, I sleep more peacefully”.
