Capital authorities visit road improvement work in Casas para el Pueblo

Well-being and safety for families is the objective of the asphalt coating project that is being carried out in the Casas para el Pueblo neighborhood of District II, with which more than 80 percent of its streets are improved in this sector of the Capital.

These improvement works were visited on the morning of this Monday, August 22, by the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that the work consists of the lining of 160 ml of street, equivalent to two blocks, through the Streets Program for the people.

The work that improves the quality of life of families and vehicular circulation, has an investment of 578 thousand 548 córdobas and directly benefits 520 inhabitants of this community.

“Daily we carry out supervisions in the different projects, here only one street would remain pending, thank God, it is a significant advance, we are working 24/7, really to meet the demand we have and reflected in our Annual Investment Plan of District II, We are going at a good pace, with more than 70 percent of execution”, reported Rueda.

The Streets for the People Program this 2022 will serve 976 blocks of road network, the initial goal being 833, but with the increase of the Special Plan guided by the Good Government directed by Commander Daniel and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario, the scope was expanded . To date, this emblematic program has progressed 84.70 percent, for a total of 826.66 blocks completed.

With the new works, the population was happy and satisfied, as expressed by the resident Lester Rafael Cano, "I feel happy, I feel happy, because the street is repaired, thanks to the Mayor and President Daniel Ortega, the First Lady , We are very grateful".
