United Nations is the new neighborhood benefited by Calles para el Pueblo

With the delivery of 7 paved blocks, on the afternoon of this Friday, August 19, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua made 4,000 residents of this community of District V the protagonist of rights.

This work for the common good was inaugurated and delivered to the families by the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who stated that this project had an investment of 5 million 227 thousand córdobas.

“Our commitment is to continue working with a lot of love, taking into account the demands of the communities expressed in the councils and community assemblies, which helps us to enrich our work, without that we could not build a budget that has a human face, taking these transformations to through road works,” said Rueda.

The population was happy with the work carried out, as stated by Mrs. Mercedes Padilla, a resident of the United Nations neighborhood, "before these streets had many puddles and mud, but now with the asphalt, the children can run and walk to school. ; Now the buses can circulate without problems, because before you couldn't even travel due to the poor condition”.

To date, the Calles para el Pueblo 2022 Program has made a global progress of 83,06%; which represent 811 improved blocks, of the 976 projected to serve this year, with the incorporation of the special plan.
