Renovation works in the park of the Leonel Rugama neighborhood

The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out renovation works in the park of the Leonel Rugama neighborhood of District IV, in this way the Good Government ensures recreation spaces for the healthy recreation of families in the capital.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who stated that this project restores the rights of children, adolescents and older adults to have a place worthy of family fun.

“It has been a priority for our Government, that families have places to recreate in a healthy way, through the PIA every year, we rehabilitate, build recreational spaces, we have had clandestine garbage dumps and we have turned them into beautiful spaces to enjoy weekends” Wheel added.

Among the scope of the work is the construction of a new children's play area for children under 5 years of age, the construction of 45 square meters of platforms, 72 linear meters of perimeter wall and the installation of lights, a table and concrete benches more painting and maintenance of green areas, reaching an amount of 1 million 427 thousand 676 córdobas and benefits 750 protagonists.

"Here it was pure garbage, it was terrible, now it's beautiful, the children can come and play safely," said Doña Gladys Murillo.

Likewise, the protagonist Cindy Rivera affirmed, "different from how it is now, painted, with games for children, a radical change 100 percent."
