Department of Managua holds Winter Flavors Gastronomic Festival

This Saturday, August 6, in the municipality of Ticuantepe, the departmental contest "Flavors of Winter" was held, with the participation of the 9 municipalities of Managua.

During this event, Mrs. Inés del Carmen Ramos Cisneros from the municipality of Ticuantepe was chosen with the best high rib soup, Mrs. Martha Lorena Silva from the municipality of Mateare with the best cocoa soft drink, and Mr. Jimmy Parrales Flores from Managua. , who won first place in desserts with the banana pudding.

The qualifying jury was in charge of teachers from the School of Hospitality of the National Technological Institute, who were based on the parameters of smell, taste, texture, presentation of the dish, as well as the decoration of the stand, informed Lucila Canales of the Technological Center of Hospitality and Tourism.

The winners will represent the department of Managua in the national contest, which will take place on Saturday, August 27, in the municipality of Chinandega.
