











As part of the care and protection of mother earth, the Municipality held a reforestation day on July 29 at the Villa Jerusalem housing complex of the Bismarck Martínez Program, located in District VII.
This environmental activity was attended by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who made the population aware of the importance of reforestation and the proper use of natural resources to preserve the environment for future generations.
Rueda highlighted the commitment that the Municipality has with mother earth and recalled that this is the second day that has been carried out in this community where 200 trees of different species were planted, in block E of Villa Jerusalem and in which last year They planted 500 plants.
“This effort is permanent through the Environment Directorate, let us remember that we were celebrating the International Soil Conservation Day and all Nicaraguans are aware that we have to put this grain of sand, each one of us to preserve our Mother Earth and it is a sustained effort of our Good Government, through the institutions involved”.
Villa Jerusalem has almost 2,500 inhabited houses, which were sensitized by the municipal authorities, ecological brigades and the Sandinista Youth.
